Aracna: An Open Source Quadruped
Aracna is an open source quadruped robot for testing evolutionary gait algorithms. I worked on the electronics and embedded software.
HelioWatcher
The HelioWatcher is a Solar Tracking and Analytics Platform capable of using GPS and an array of sensors to automatically orient towards the sun and perform real-time data capture.
LibeTech QR Code Door Lock
LibeTech allows you to unlock doors using QR codes that you register from the web. Communication is highly secured, and changing allowed users is a snap.
Machine Metabolism
IEEE Robotics & Automation
This robot emulates the functionality of an enzyme on a protein by attaching to a structure and manipulating it while attached.
Electronic Product Reviews
I produce video and textual reviews of electronic components to assist hobbyists in selecting parts for their assorted projects.
SudoGlove Hardware Controller
As seen on TV!
The SudoGlove interprets hand gestures to control hardware or software. I’ve used it to drive RC Cars, synthesize music, and more.
[email protected] 3D Printer
I led electronics development for the the [email protected] 3D printer. My research focused on developing improved safety systems and a more cohesive system-level design.
Stochastic Modular Assembly
This project focused on designing “Programmable Matter” cubes capable of arranging themselves into a desired object when disturbed stochastically in a fluid.
Wireless Weather Station
This MSP430 weather station measures humidity, temperature, and light levels remotely and transmits them to a computer that plots them in real time.
DEKA Luke Arm
I worked on the 3rd gen “LUKE” Prosthetic Arm at DEKA Research and Development. I contributed to the design of the circuit boards for hand and upper-arm control.
