National Bus Tour Debrief
I recently completed an epic, once-in-a-lifetime cross-country bus trip from Ithaca, NY to San Francisco, CA. We stopped at six schools along the way to pick up other college students, and we led educational workshops for K-12 schools at each stop to teach students about various aspects of sustainability. The tour ended in San Francisco where I attended the GreenBuild Conference and Expo.
I’m Travelling Across the Country. On a Bus!
Cornell University Sustainable Design and the US Green Building Council have partnered up to organize a cross-country bus tour. The tour started at Cornell University and will end at the International GreenBuild Conference and Expo in San Francisco, California. Along the way, I, along with other CUSD members and college students from around the country will be teaching K-12 students about the importance of sustainable design.
CUSD Pulls in Some Major Grants and Meets with Rick Fedrizzi (President/CEO of the US Green Building Council)
My fellow Cornell Sustainable Design team leaders and I recently met with Rick Fedrizzi, President of the US Green Building Council. We also won a $10,000 geothermal research grant, and a $1000 grant from Cornell’s Engineering Alumni Association.
