Buy Exploring Arduino - Support Education!

Update (Dec. 19th): My employer, Google, will be matching the donations that I’ll be making through this campaign. That means I’ll be donating a total of twice my royalties to non-profits supporting STEAM education!

Publishing a book has been one hell of an adventure. If you watched my announcement video, then you know that I published this book in an attempt to give as many people as possible the opportunity to learn concepts in electrical engineering, computer science, and human-computer interaction. So far, I’m excited to report that this book has done an excellent job in helping me to accomplish that mission. I’ve sold 10,000 copies so far, and the Amazon reviews show that the book is really helping people. Moreover, it’s being adopted by universities and educational programs around the world to teach Arduino.

Despite all this, there’s still more that I (and you) can do to give students the tools they need to pursue engineering. So, in the spirit of holiday giving, I’ve decided to donate 100% of my author royalties on books sold from now until the new year to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education. If you’ve been thinking about picking up a copy of Exploring Arduino, now is the time to act! You’ll get a great educational resource for yourself, and you’ll be helping to promote engineering education! With the holidays coming up, Exploring Arduino also makes a great gift.

Thank you to everybody who has helped me to make this book a success. Please help me to improve the dire state of STEAM education by picking up a copy of the book. At the end of the campaign, I’ll report back with how much was raised, and how the money will directly impact STEAM education. It’s hard to gather exact sales numbers for a date range, so I’ll do my best to extrapolate sales data from the available information, and I’ll round up if I’m uncertain. Happy holidays!
